2 oz Fuggle hops (60 min)

1/2 cup of crushed coffee beans in secondary (steep in bourbon for one week)
1 oz medium-toast oak chips in secondary (steep in bourbon for one week)
4 oz espresso in secondary
2 whole vanilla beans in secondary
2 oz burton water salts
Wyeast American Ale yeast (pre-hydrated starter)
Notes:
Originally opened at Dark Lord Day 2008 we aged this brew for a year and opened it again at Dark Lord Day 2009. I believe this is another of the beers sampled by Chuck Sudo of the Chicagoist. I was also told by one attendee that they enjoyed this beer more than the Vanilla Dark Lord. Hopefully we can age this a little longer but it's so tasty we have a hard time keeping our hands off them. -Holly
